Hi, I’m Sarah.
I’m an operator and a systems thinker. I don’t accept that the way things are is the way they have to stay.
I know what it costs to stay inside a structure that was never built for you. I know what it takes to finally see it clearly, name it honestly, and choose differently.
That’s not something I’ve only read about. It’s something I lived — in a marriage, a business, and a career.
Now I bring that lived clarity to my clients. Every engagement starts with the same question: what do you actually want?
I’m not interested in the blueprint or what you're supposed to want. The answer to that question is where the work begins.
How I Got Here
Before I started working with business owners, I spent years inside some of the biggest companies, including Google and PayPal. I was good at the work. I also realized that climbing someone else's ladder toward titles I didn't particularly want wasn't how I wanted to spend my life.
So I left.
At 35, I bought a distressed salon in downtown Austin. Turning it around was harder than I expected. I recruited a strong team, rebuilt the pricing and compensation, modernized every system, and made informed decisions based on the numbers. Within three years, I'd transformed the salon into a thriving $1.7M business and won a Salon Today award as one of the top salons in the country.
Then I did something we don't talk about nearly enough in business: I looked honestly at what continued growth would require from me and my family, and decided I didn't want it.
So I sold it, on my own terms — for six times my original investment — to someone with the ambition and resources to take it where it needed to go. Click here for the full story.
What That Taught Me
That experience changed how I think about business.
Growth isn’t always the answer. Neither is selling, scaling, or staying small. The right answer depends on what the numbers say, what the business needs, and what resources and capacity the owner actually has at that time.
Most business advice assumes owners don’t know what they want. They do. What they don’t have is the visibility, the honest partnership, and the room to think about the whole thing at once.
That’s what I bring.
Who I Work With
I work with owners building businesses that matter — serving real needs, creating real jobs, and delivering real value. Wealth is the byproduct, not the goal.
They’re the family manufacturers and the specialty medical practices, the home service companies that outgrew a single zip code, the wellness practices built one loyal client at a time. They’re the skilled trades and the waste and junk removal companies — the businesses that quietly hold their communities together while the extraction economy tries to consume them.
Whether you want to grow, stabilize, sell on your own terms, or build something strong enough to outlast you — my work is helping you build it with the whole picture in view.
You built something that matters. Let’s make sure you have the options to shape what comes next.
